Chinese New Year Break - 2014

Yes, I do know that Chinese New Year celebration ended last night, and yes, I know this blog is titled "My Life in Singapore", but if you don't mind, I certainly have something special to share from the past Chinese New Year break (starting 28th Jan for one week).
A group of us (my aunt's family and mine) decided to welcome the lunar year with a short holiday, together as a family. We went to A Famosa Resort World just right before the Lunar New Year.
The place we stay - Villa room in A Famosa Resort World easily fitted 10 of us, costing RM450 per night, and it came with a private pool! More detail to refer from their official website:

http://www.afamosa.com/accomodation/villa/

They are not paying me for promotion hence I wouldn't bother into the detail. In short, the stay was pleasant for us.

As a blogger, and as a lazy one, I would leave the pictures to talk for themselves.

First day activity: Safari World.
Highlight:
- Elephant show
- Free "truck" ride which brought me closest ever to wild animal.

The one and only picture with all 10 of us

These are the "wild lives" pictures I took on the "truck". It was really close, I suppose any closer will make me a hearty (not healthy) lunch for the tigers.

Some family members have their unique and close encounter with their new "friends".

 Second Day: Water Theme Park
I would said we had more fun in Safari World than Water Theme Park. One reason is due to the time limitation we have on the 2nd day. Personally will recommend Sunway Lagoon over the A Famosa Water Theme Park. But no harm splashing water with my siblings and cousins since we were there!
Oh by the way, they have similar "man-made wave" pool as in Sunway Lagoon, which is quite fun!

One thing I really glad about this trip, is the people that I was able to continuously enjoy their accompaniment. The smiles on their faces, and their eyes, another memory made. Could imagine one day when my cousins grew older, and when they reflected back, they will rediscover this journey as part of their memorable childhood.

And you know what is the best part? Being able to watch them from behind and knowing that they are enjoying the show:)

And of course, taking their pictures from the front. Yes, although they might not be showing any interests...
As a family, we "dispute" over the places to have breakfast, we "buzz" each others with questions and requests. As a family, we too laughed over the meals, we entertain each others with jokes and presence. Yes, forgive me for my temporarily lost of patient at times. Yes, do believe in your hearts that I treasure you all! Praise God for these adorable people that surrounded me, even though only for a short period of a week! You guys are fantastic!

Happy new year 2014, everyone! Keep striving!

Gabe:)
